The automatic positioner enables fast and precise measurement of workpieces for cutting on a crosscut saw with an accuracy of 0.1 mm per meter. Operation is controlled via a 7″ touchscreen, with job loading over an Ethernet network. A barcode scanner can be connected for added convenience.
The system can be configured for left-to-right or right-to-left operation. Roller surfaces are made of stainless steel with polypropylene rollers. Optionally, the positioner can be supplied without a rack as a tabletop version.
An additional stepped stop allows simultaneous measurement of two workpieces of different lengths with a defined length difference—for example, a pipe and the bottom weight of a roller blind.
